Ozone therapy is extremely effective for combating skin problems such as acne and pimples, and can even be used to erase scars. In general, ozone skin treatment is given using a localised blowing method with oxygen and ozone, or saunas with ozone vapour. It is an effective acne treatment which disinfects the skin and helps in speedy recovery from acnes and pimples. As far as the results are concerned, while some patients experience almost immediate improvement, significant relief can take 3-4 weeks. Some patients continue to experience improvement over several months after the treatment. A period of soreness after the injection may be present for approximately 24 hours or longer.
